Fall Protection-ESL (GS0001A)

Class Description

This course is specifically designed for those members looking to learn English as a second language while earning a certification in the mandatory Fall Protection class.

This course addresses safety requirements when working from an elevated area such as stairs, ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts and steel erection. It also addresses how to use, inspect and maintain personal protective equipment.

Este curso está diseñado específicamente para aquellos miembros que buscan aprender inglés como segundo idioma mientras que obtiene una certificación en la clase de protección contra caídas obligatoria.

Este curso cubre los requisitos de seguridad cuando se trabaja desde un área elevada como escaleras, andamios, elevadores aéreos y erección de acero. También se refiere a cómo usar, inspeccionar y mantener el equipo de protección personal.

Equipment Required

Members attending training must provide their own safety shoes, safety goggles, gloves, ear protection and hard hats. Failure to provide your own safety equipment may result in your being dropped from a particular training session.

Attendance Requirements

100% attendance is required for all courses that issue Certificates or Qualifications. Please be on time! Late arrivals (and early departures) are disruptive to instructors and participants. Poor attendance / disruptive behavior will result in your being dropped from a particular training session.

Cancellation Policy

To maximize the effectiveness of our training sessions, we limit the number of attendees. If you are registered for a specific training and need to cancel, please take a minute and log-on to the website and withdraw from the class. Once you log-in, classes you are registered for will appear under your profile, click on the class to unregisterFailure to withdraw or notify us within 3 days of the start date of the class will result in a \"No Show\" and may result in you being denied registration for future training. We reserve the right to cancel any course for which there is an insufficient number of registered attendees. Registrants may then enroll in the next available offering of the course, or cancel the registration.
